The Independent Artist Fair 2014
Deadline 31st July More info: http://eepurl.com/XYfw1
We are pleased to see more opportunities popping up for artists during the week that London plays host to many art fairs, dominated ofcourse by Frieze and The Other Art Fair.
TIAF has always been about giving artists in Britain and across the world the chance to get their work seen at a time when the city is buzzing with collectors, curators and many global movers and shakers not to forget the many art lovers who come to enjoy such a great range of art. As artists, we firmly believe there is room for everyone and the more platforms that are offered o artists, in an affordable and transparent way, the better.
By creating a curated exhibition of contemporary and challenging work, TIAF steers away from the traditional idea of a stack ’em high and sell ’em off fair format. We want to showcase great art in a place and time that is usually too exclusive for many artists.
This year is a very exciting one for us as we are showing at the wonderful Rag Factory in the heart of Brick Lane. A well established gallery with a long history, only 5 mins away from The Other Art Fair. We are expecting to be very busy as we catch the flow of visitors on their art adventure in one of the most famous streets in London.
Continue submitting your work artists, all art forms will be considered: sculpture/installation/painting/photography/print/sound, and we intend the opening night to showcase some fantastic performances so do send us your proposals.
TIAF London was such a wonderful experience last year and we hope to make it bigger and better this year. Mark your diary!
